Ross Lovegrove was born in Wales in 1958. He is a British industrial designer, best known for his work on the Sony Walkman. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and has carried out important projects for Airbus, Kartell, Ceccotti, Cappellini, Moroso, Driade, Peugeot, Apple, Vitra, Olympus, Herman Miller... among others.

His The unmistakable organic and anti-minimalist style stands out in its VONDOM outdoor chairs and sofa. His designs have been exhibited at MoMA in New York, the Center Pompidou in Paris and the Axis Center in Japan. In addition to being awarded the REDDOT Design Award and the World Technology Award from Times Magazine.
