Eero Aarnio was born in Helsinki in 1932, going down in history as one of the most influential Scandinavian industrial designers of the 20th century. Eero Aarnio began to experiment with plastics, vivid colors and organic shapes, breaking with traditional design conventions. Many of Aarnio's works are included in the most prestigious museums in the world, such as the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the MoMA in New York and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein., Like his plastic chairs and fiberglass. His early designs had a traditional aesthetic.
