Karim Rashid

Born in Cairo to Egyptian and English parents, and raised in Canada, Karim now resides in New York, managing his private design studio. To date he has had around 3000 objects put into production and has successfully entered the field of architecture and interior design, designing the rest aurante Morimoto in Philadelphia and the Semiramis Hotel in Athens. Karim Rashid is one of the most prolific designers of his generation, he has worked in over 40 countries, has over 3000 designs in production and over 300 awards. His designs include luxury goods, furniture, lighting, landscape design, brand identity and packaging.
