Teresa Sapey es arquitecta y diseñadora nacida en Turín (Italia) en 1963. Además, es una de las principales coleccionistas de arte mujeres residentes en España. La particularidad de su colección de arte es que está formada principalmente por obras de videoarte. Establecida en Madrid, su salto a la popularidad se produce en 2005, cuando participa en el proyecto colectivo del hotel Puerta de América, junto a arquitectos como Jean Nouvel, Zaha Hadid o Norman Foster. Su vigorosa y colorida manera de entender unos espacios que, hasta ese momento, se seleccionarán secundarios, le labra una merecida fama.
